LAI’s land surveying department has provided land survey and CAD service for privately-owned lots and large commercial developments in most counties throughout north and central Minnesota.

The department is comprised of Minnesota licensed professional land surveyors (PLS), Minnesota licensed land surveyors in training (LSIT), trained field crew technicians and a highly skilled team of computer-aided-drafting (CAD) technicians.

We possess an extensive library of research materials on which to base our work, and our commitment to excellence is echoed in our investment in the most modern surveying, design, and printing technology. Our field crews utilize a full spectrum of surveying instruments (including Global Positioning System (GPS) and Geographic Information System (GIS) technology) which allows us to gather, analyze, and convert field data accurately and efficiently. Each of our offices is equipped with state-of-the-art design and printing equipment to produce high quality drawings and plans.
